White Elephant: The Blacks – last performance
It overwhelmed me for the first sight.
Unimaginable things happened in visions, sounds and style.
On the height of the godlike Genet fly together Zoltán Balázs’ genius, the fantastic concentration of the singers, virtuoso playing of the actors of Maladype, and the gigantic construction of the whole drama. After many performances deeper and deeper surfaces of the wonderful performance can be seen we arrived more and more excited to the performances one after another. Because: What we like more and more that is beautiful... and this unique performance fulfils this requirement entirely.
During the last, the Sixth time the catharsis was firing with blinding white glowing. Maybe it was even thicker, even more tense as ever, we could only walk away silently, and then we could remember endlessly in the future these unforgettable moments.
With The Blacks Zoltán Balázs has made a theatre history: however it was taken down of the program, but its effects and memories will live on forever.
